“This channel will provide media professions with one central content hub about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across Europe,” said Dinis Adriano, Communication Director for the Church’s Europe Central Area. “It will be a helpful resource in addition to the familiar country newsrooms, which maintain a local focus. We anticipate that this tool will be a uniting force for all of Europe,” he added.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a global faith with more than half a million members in Europe.

Twelve years ago, the Church began to launch online newsrooms for various European countries in their respective languages. These sites will continue to exist, but some highlights will now also be shared through the European newsroom in English to reach a broader audience.

This central source of content will also enable journalists, opinion leaders as well as members of the Church to gain an international perspective of the Church’s operations.

In addition, global and European Church leadership may use the new site to make announcements and address relevant topics.

The English-language online newsroom for Europe can be found by clicking here or by visiting any other newsroom of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and clicking on the top right corner to open a menu of available country and multi-country editions.
