General conference is a worldwide gathering of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Twice a year, during the first weekends of April and October, Church leaders from around the world share messages focused on Jesus Christ and His gospel. Among those following conference broadcasts originating from Salt Lake City in the United States in 6-7 April 2024 will be many thousand faithful from across Europe.
“General conference has blessed my life because there is always at least one talk that was meant just for me in a specific situation or trial I was going through,” says a member of the Church residing in Germany. At the last conference in October 2023, Church President Russell M. Nelson invited listeners to “think celestial” or heavenly.

A local member from the Netherlands reflects, “To me, thinking celestial means to put more trust in God’s timing and plan and to have faith that things will work out for our good. It also means learning to let go and putting things in His hands. I’ve really been working on that, and it has brought me so much inner peace.”
A member from Switzerland adds, “I now find myself contemplating more often the eternal implications of my decisions and what truly matters.” All conference sessions will be streamed live on the live broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org in more than 70 languages. They may also be watched on the General Conference YouTube channel, Gospel Stream app, Gospel Library, and other radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.
Following the broadcast, the messages will be available in text, audio, and video formats on multiple channels in more than 70 languages for on-demand viewing and studying. These channels include Gospel Library, Media Library, the General Conference YouTube channel, Gospel Stream, and the Church magazines.
