The temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Freiberg in Saxony was completed in 1985. It was thus the first such sanctuary on German soil. Radio journalist Martin Reischke traced how the construction came about. His report was aired on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in the programme “Zeitfragen” on Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
