Sister Emily Belle Freeman, Young Women General President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Sister Amy A. Wright, First Counselor in the Primary General Presidency, have concluded a spiritually rich tour across Europe, ministering to youth, children, families, leaders, missionaries and civic leaders in five countries over seven days.
The tour’s powerful devotional days in Berlin, attended by President Freeman, and Rome attended by Sister Wright, set the tone for a week filled with heartfelt connection and inspired teaching.
In Warsaw, Poland, Sister Freeman met with humanitarian project partners and discussed their work, their goals and their partnerships with the church. “When we serve others, we see them as He sees them,” Sister Freeman shared.
Meanwhile, Sister Wright traveled to Zurich, Switzerland, and met with members and friends of the church. Her presence underscored the Church’s efforts to foster respectful dialogue and build bridges across Europe.
The two leaders reunited in Lyon, France, where they led combined devotionals for youth and children. Sister Wright testified of the divine potential in every child, while Sister Freeman invited members to consider how the Savior ministered and healed regardless of what else was on his “to do” list.
Concluding in Brussels, Belgium, the Sisters led a series of devotionals and meetings, bearing witness to the impact and power of congregations and communities in a diverse and dynamic region. They encouraged members to be examples of the Savior in their homes, schools, and cities.
